Photographic Terms and Conditions for eCoverEvolution.com
Please note. We are no longer able to provide our customers
with PSD files unless images used for the design are supplied
by the customer and they have rights to use on multiple designs.
You will of course continue to get your images as usual, with no problems and in 95%+ of cases, people do not use the PSD files anyway.. The reason we have taken this step is to comply with Site Regulations on the use of Images in Web Templates and design:
We typically use sites such as BigStockPhoto, Boxed Art and
iStockPhoto for our work and we purchase a NEW right to an
image, each time we undertake work for our client.
However, in their terms it clearly states that ".. 'we' may not supply the RAW image to our client as it is then in breach
of their terms."
If you require a site template to be made that you intend
to resell, you MUST clearly STATE this on your order as
we will use companies that allow us to do this for you.
Again however, you will not get the RAW format images used
as this breaks the terms of agreement.
We do not do this to be annoying, but to help ensure we and
YOU stay within the law, and do not end up with a fine for
abusing the legal rights of purchase.
If you wish to have an image that will be used again or,
for you to change the format of your graphics, then please
supply us with your own images for use in your work, or
accept that Public Domain images will have to be used, which
in some cases lowers the quality of final products as
"perfect Models set ups" are typically NOT found in the
Public Domain.
If you require the PSD files and raw images, then this can
be arranges provided you purchase a multi user licence
for the images used (this can range from $50 to a few hundred
and some times higher).
It is understood that by placing your order with eCoverEvolution.com
that you have read and ACCEPTED these terms and NO refunds will
be made in these circumstances.
If we were to purchase multiple user licences on every image
we use, then our cover artwork would be several times higher
than they are at present to cover this increased cost.
MAKE SURE YOU ARE COVERED IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE OTHER DESIGNERS
Just to save a few Potential $$$$ in law suits! You could well pay a far higher price
if you do not ensure that you stay within the image use guidelines
for web design purposes.
